Volleyball Recap: Red Oak Wins Going Away Against Cedar Hill

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Midway, Red Oak was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Cedar Hill Longhorns 3-0. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12, 25-14.

Red Oak's offense was headlined by Jayden Fitzgerald and Aliah Earls, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Samantha Taylor and her 16 assists. Maleah Ellis controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The victory got Red Oak back to even at 1-1.

Red Oak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Temple on the 14th. As for Cedar Hill, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Seagoville on the 14th.
