Basketball Recap: University School Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

University School had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the John F. Kennedy Fighting Eagles by a score of 84-72. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Preppers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.

University School pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for John F. Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University School will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Hiland at 7:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for John F. Kennedy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Washington at 7:15 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
