Baseball Recap: Tamalpais Comes Up Short

Tamalpais fell victim to Petaluma and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 7-0. The Red Tailed Hawks have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Tamalpais saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Finnegan McGrane, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Tamalpais' loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Petaluma, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Tamalpais has already played their next contest, a 13-5 defeat against Novato on the 15th. As for Petaluma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Acalanes on the 16th.
