Flag Football Recap: Madison Highland Prep Takes a Loss

Madison Highland Prep fell victim to Scottsdale Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 49-0. While losing is never fun, the Heat can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Eagles are ranked 21st).

Leading Scottsdale Christian Academy to victory were Nola Bynum and Campbell Reader. Bynum gained 160 total yards and four touchdowns, while Reader threw for 170 yards and four TDs. What's more, Bynum racked up 46 rushing yards, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Hannah Lopez was in the mix too, providing Scottsdale Christian Academy with two touchdowns.

Madison Highland Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Madison Highland Prep has already played their next matchup (against Kingman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 37-0 win against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 23rd.
