Baseball Recap: Foss Comes Up Short

Foss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Steilacoom Sentinels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 on Tuesday.

Foss' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Steilacoom, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Foss will take on Eatonville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Steilacoom, they will challenge White River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sentinels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
