Eugene waltzed into their match on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Versailles Tigers with a sharp 74-52 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Tigers are ranked 367th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eugene pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Versailles, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
