Volleyball Recap: Osseo Takes a Loss

Osseo had lost five straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 11-14 to make it six. They lost 3-0 to the Maple Grove Crimson. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Orioles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Maple Grove, the victory was the 23rd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-3. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

Maple Grove was led to victory by Addison Chung and Amanda Swiers. Chung had 15 assists and four digs, while Swiers had 19 assists and five digs. That's the most assists Chung has posted over her last ten matchups.

Osseo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maple Grove, they will face off against Champlin Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
