Softball Game Preview: Pine View Panthers vs. Cedar Reds

Pine View hasn't had much luck against Cedar recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will look to defend their home field against the Reds at 7:00 p.m. Pine View has given up an average of 12.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pine View came up short against Virgin Valley on Monday, falling 14-4.

Kam Sullivan made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.

Box Elder hit Cedar with a four-run first inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Reds fell 6-1 to the Bees.

Cedar saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinzie Hawkins, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Pine View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cedar, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
