Volleyball Recap: New Bridge Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Varsity Opponent

New Bridge Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to Varsity Opponent on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

While New Bridge Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 19-25, 25-19.

Coming up, New Bridge Academy will venture away from home to take on Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Legacy Christian on the 4th.
