Basketball Recap: Hill Freedman World Academy Hawks vs. Carver High School of Engineering & Science
Hill Freedman World Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 77-33 loss at the hands of Carver High School of Engineering & Science. The Hawks lost against Carver High School of Engineering & Science in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 70-69 score last time.
Carver High School of Engineering & Science's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Billy Henighan, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 14 points and five rebounds. Treyvon Deadrick was another key player, putting up 13 points and six steals.
Hill Freedman World Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-35 defeat against Paul Robeson on the 2nd. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-51 victory against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy on the 3rd.
