Buckeye Trail proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 20) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Conotton Valley Rockets, sneaking past 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Rockets last Monday, they had to take a 4-0 defeat.

Buckeye Trail's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-3. As for Conotton Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Buckeye Trail is taking a road trip to take on Sandy Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Conotton Valley, they will welcome Shadyside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Tigers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
