Volleyball Recap: Los Angeles CES Takes a Loss

Los Angeles CES was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfax Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in February.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 17-25, 25-17.

Los Angeles CES' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Fairfax, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Angeles CES will welcome Westchester at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairfax, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Venice at 4:30 p.m. on April 3.
