Aurora Central came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-2 to the Montbello Warriors.

Aurora Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-1 record this season. As for Montbello, they moved to 5-5-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Looking ahead, Aurora Central is taking a road trip to square off against Vista PEAK Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montbello, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against George Washington at 6:30 p.m. This will be Montbello's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
