Basketball Recap: DSST: Green Valley Ranch Victorious

DSST: Green Valley Ranch's game on Friday was all tied up 10-10 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 28-24 W over the Hinkley Thunder.

Alexsandra Ortiz Hernandez and Amelia Morlan certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Ortiz Hernandez posted eight points in addition to nine rebounds and five steals, while Morlan scored five points and five boards. The dominant performance also gave Morlan a new career-high in steals (two).

DSST: Green Valley Ranch picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-18. As for Hinkley, they are on a 39-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-21.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hinkley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-25 defeat against Greeley West on the 22nd.
