Baseball Recap: Albany Gets the Win

Albany won the last time they faced Salesian College Preparatory and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars skirted past the Pride 2-1.

Jude Hatamiya spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 17 Ks. Those 17 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.

At the plate, Albany saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Magnus Williams, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. That's the most doubles Williams has posted since back in March.

Albany's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Salesian College Preparatory, their loss was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-20.

As of now, neither Albany nor the Pride have any future games scheduled.
