Volleyball Recap: Gulf Coast H Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Gulf Coast H and Sarasota Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Gulf Coast H had to settle for second. They came up short against the Blazers, falling 3-0. The loss leaves the HEAT still looking for their first win of the season.

Adam Rummings paced Gulf Coast H's offense, picking up nine kills. Rummings got some help from Aaron Light and his 13 assists. Light and Rummings didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Gulf Coast H's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Sarasota Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.

Gulf Coast H does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sarasota Christian, they will take on Keswick Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
