Volleyball Game Preview: West Union Dragons vs. Alexander Spartans

After both having extra time off, the West Union Dragons and the Alexander Spartans will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

West Union took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Eastern 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Alexander got the win against Vinton County on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Alexander took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Alexander's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for West Union, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.
