Baseball Recap: Jasper-Troupsburg Comes Up Short

Jasper-Troupsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Alfred-Almond Eagles, falling 20-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 on Thursday.

Jasper-Troupsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Alfred-Almond, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jasper-Troupsburg will take on rival Hammondsport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alfred-Almond is set to face off against their familiar foe Addison at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
