Baseball Recap: Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Takes a Loss

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) managed to slip by Immaculata-La Salle the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) came up short against Immaculata-La Salle on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royal Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Dylan Beaton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Immaculata-La Salle and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) will head out to take on Palmetto at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they will be playing at home against South Miami at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
