Basketball Recap: Glenbard West Comes Up Short

Glenbard West lost against Lyons back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Glenbard West Hilltoppers took a 46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lyons Lions. While losing is never fun, the Hilltoppers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Lions are ranked third).

Glenbard West has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-12 record this season. As for Lyons, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-1.

Glenbard West has already played their next matchup (against Conant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lyons, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-50 loss against Fremd on the 8th.
