Basketball Recap: Crocker Lions vs. Stoutland Tigers
After flying high against Laquey last Tuesday, Crocker came back down to earth. The Crocker Lions were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 64-63 to the Stoutland Tigers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Crocker's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Stoutland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Crocker will host St. Elizabeth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Elizabeth has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 240 points over their last three matchups. As for Stoutland, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Stoutland Tigers face off against the Licking Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stoutland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Licking likes a good challenge.
