Softball Recap: Fleming County Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Carter on Monday, Fleming County came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Rowan County Vikings on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Fleming County's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Rowan County, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Fleming County will venture away from home to square off against Bourbon County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colonels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.5 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Rowan County has already played their next game (against George Rogers Clark), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
