Basketball Recap: Tri-City Christian Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Tri-City Christian Academy won the last time they faced Berean Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors put the hurt on the Berean Academy Eagles with a sharp 36-16 win. Fans of the Warriors have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Tri-City Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ally Phillips led the charge by putting up eight points along with 13 boards and six steals. Phillips is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Sierra Lulgjuraj was another key player, posting eight points and six rebounds.

Berean Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khamarah Golden, who posted two points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariana Sloan, who had two points and nine rebounds.

Tri-City Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Tri-City Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 26-14 win against Skyline Prep on the 6th. As for Berean Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-12 loss against Skyline - Gila River on the 5th.
