Catholic Central extended their postseason success on Friday against Clarkston. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolves 42-13. The Shamrocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Catholic Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Duke Banta out in front who threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes. That's the most passing yards Banta has posted since back in September. Cedric Williams helped Banta out on the ground, rushing for 112 yards and one score on only 13 carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Catholic Central proved: they limited Clarkston to a paltry 3.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Beckett Glynn for the heroic effort on defense: he. That's the most yards per carry they've managed all season.
