Softball Recap: Green Level Comes Up Short

If Green Level was riding high fresh off their 20-6 takedown of Felton Grove on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gators lost 18-0 to the Willow Spring Storm on Tuesday. The Gators have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Green Level's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Willow Spring, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Green Level is taking a road trip to challenge Apex Friendship at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Willow Spring, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Felton Grove at 4:30 p.m. The Galaxy have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.4 runs per game on average), something the Storm will no doubt try to take advantage of.
