Softball Recap: Milton Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Fort Atkinson last Thursday, Milton came back down to earth. The Red Hawks came up short against the Elkhorn Elks on Saturday, falling 11-2. The Red Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Elks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Milton's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-2. As for Elkhorn, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Milton and Elkhorn will both be playing Waunakee the next time they take the field. The Red Hawks will head out to face the Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Elks will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
