Rangeview not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 3rd. Everything went their way against the George Washington Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.
Rangeview walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-20.
Aidan Johnson paced Rangeview's offense, picking up ten kills. Johnson got some help from Zach Tapparo and his 18 assists. Johnathan Broderick controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Rangeview is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for George Washington, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-8.
We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rangeview will take on rival Hinkley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, George Washington is set to square off against their familiar foe Regis Groff at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
