Baseball Recap: Central A & M Raiders vs. Clinton Maroons
Central A & M was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 10-0 loss at the hands of the Clinton Maroons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Central A & M of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Central A & M saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marshall Minott, who went 1-for-3 with a triple.
On Clinton's side, Colton Walker was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Walker, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Central A & M's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Clinton, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.
