Basketball Recap: Moore Gets the Win

Moore posted their closest win since February 16, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Putnam City North Panthers out 60-57. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Moore is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points per game. As for Putnam City North, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-5 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Moore beat Putnam City North by a score of 60-57 on Tuesday.
