Volleyball Game Preview: Trinity Classical Academy Knights vs. Castaic Coyotes

The Trinity Classical Academy Knights will square off against the Castaic Coyotes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Castaic took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Trinity Classical Academy, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Trinity Classical Academy beat Palmdale Academy Charter School 3-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Castaic came up short against Valencia last Thursday, falling 3-0. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Castaic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-9, 25-16.

Trinity Classical Academy's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-5. As for Castaic, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10-1.
