Basketball Recap: Spotsylvania Comes Up Short

Spotsylvania was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 82-52 loss at the hands of the Culpeper County Blue Devils. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-49 last Wednesday.

Spotsylvania's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Culpeper County, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spotsylvania will venture away from home to challenge Caroline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Culpeper County, they will square off against Maggie Walker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
