Soccer Recap: Apple Valley Has No Trouble Against Serrano

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Hills, Apple Valley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Serrano Diamondbacks with a sharp 5-1 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Sun Devils' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Their offense was hitting Serrano from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

The win snapped Apple Valley's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-8-4 record. As for Serrano, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15-1.

Apple Valley will head out to face off against Hesperia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Serrano, they will be playing at home against Sultana at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sultana is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.
