With a playoff win on the line, Howard rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Marriotts Ridge Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Lions' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-15.

Jojo Vassor was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October.

Vassor wasn't the only good servers: Howard was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Howard's victory bumped their record up to 21-0. As for Marriotts Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

As of now, neither Howard nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
