Volleyball Recap: Emerson Moser Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Badin

Bishop Fenwick hadn't done well against Badin recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Falcons blew past the Rams 3-0. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-11.

Bishop Fenwick's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emerson Moser, who had 25 digs and two aces. Moser is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Abby Kiser, who had ten digs and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Bishop Fenwick was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Bishop Fenwick now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Badin, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Bishop Fenwick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Carroll on the 26th. As for Badin, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Chaminade Julienne Catholic on the 26th.
