Football Game Preview: Rincon/University Rangers vs. Sahuarita Mustangs + How To Watch

The Rincon/University Rangers will head out on the road to face off against the Sahuarita Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rincon/University has given up an average of 33.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Rincon/University is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Pueblo on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rangers had to suffer through a 55-6 loss at the hands of the Warriors. The Rangers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-6.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sahuarita, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Rio Rico 42-14 on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Mustangs' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Rincon/University now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Sahuarita, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Rincon/University might still be hurting after the 22-2 loss they got from Sahuarita in their previous matchup back in October of 2024.
