Baseball Game Preview: Coppell Cowboys vs. Flower Mound Jaguars

For the second straight game, Coppell will face off against Flower Mound. The Cowboys will square off against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Coppell 2.9, Flower Mound 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Coppell's offense. They fell just short of Flower Mound by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Cowboys in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost seven in a row.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Flower Mound, bringing their record up to 19-9-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of three runs across that stretch. As for Coppell, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7-2.
