Basketball Recap: Constantine Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dowagiac last Wednesday, Constantine came back down to earth. The Constantine Falcons took a 42-23 bruising from the Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 302nd, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 84th).

Constantine now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Looking ahead, Constantine will venture away from home to square off against Black River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hackett Catholic Prep, they will square off against South Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
