Basketball Game Preview: Randleman Tigers vs. Trinity Bulldogs

The Randleman Tigers will face off against the Trinity Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Randleman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.

Randleman will head into Saturday's matchup hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 33) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past R.J. Reynolds 65-63. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Demons are ranked 356th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against Eastern Randolph, falling 83-49. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-26.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Randleman, their win bumped their record up to 13-1.

Randleman took their victory against Trinity when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 69-47. Does Randleman have another victory up their sleeve, or will Trinity turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
