Softball Recap: Leonardtown's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Leonardtown finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Huntingtown Hurricanes by a score of 2-1. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Leonardtown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Wathen, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Leonardtown fell to 7-1. As for Huntingtown, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-1.

Leonardtown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-0 victory against Thomas Stone on the 10th. As for Huntingtown, they have also already played their next match, a 9-0 win against Northern on the 10th.
