 Sadly, Sisters is still looking for their first win of the season after nine  matches. They wound up on the wrong side of a  tough 15-5 walloping at the hands of the La Pine Hawks on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sisters of the  12-10 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  last Tuesday.
 For La Pine's part,  Lindsey Moulder made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits (and only one walk). Moulder has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Moulder was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Nevaeh Martinez was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.  August Walker was another key contributor,  going 2-for-5 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run.
 Sisters' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for La Pine, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5-1.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat Sisters by a score of  14-12 later that day.
