Softball Recap: Pittsfield Takes a Loss

After flying high against Monomoy on Monday, Pittsfield came back down to earth. The Generals fell just short of the Uxbridge Spartans by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Generals have suffered since May 10th.

Pittsfield dropped their record down to 8-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Uxbridge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-1.

While Pittsfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Wednesday.
