Volleyball Recap: Prosper Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Sofia Winter and Halle Richards + How To Watch

After flying high against Princeton on Tuesday, Prosper came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Plano West Wolves on Friday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Plano West scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.

Prosper's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Halle Richards, who had 11 digs and three assists, and Sofia Winter, who had six digs and six assists. Richards is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Prosper's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Plano West, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Coincidentally, Prosper and Plano West will both be playing McKinney Boyd the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
