Sherwood barely beat Windsor the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Marksmen put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Marksmen haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
One reason for the win was Sherwood's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-11.
Kiah Felton paced Sherwood's offense, picking up 12 kills. Felton got some help from Aubrey McCulloh and her 15 assists. Jordan Harms controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
Sherwood's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Sherwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Adrian on the 11th. As for Windsor, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Otterville at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
