Basketball Recap: Whitko Wildcats vs. Garrett Railroaders
The Whitko Wildcats stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 46-26 margin over Garrett. The victory was nothing new for Whitko as they're now sitting on eight straight.
It was another big night for Kyler Krull, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 15 points for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Harman, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Whitko pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Garrett, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitko will take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwestern is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. As for Garrett, they will head out on the road to face off against the Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
