Recap: Humble Christian Cougars vs. Banff Bears
The Humble Christian Cougars only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 27-point they dealt the Banff Bears on Thursday. Humble Christian claimed a resounding 58-31 win over Banff on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Humble Christian has posted since November 9, 2023.
Kyron Williams was his usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Simpson, who scored 11 points.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Viet Vo was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Humble Christian and bumps their season record up to 12-9. As for Banff, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
