Soccer Recap: River Islands Comes Up Short

River Islands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Riverbank Bruins, falling 9-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Riptide were already down 6-0.

River Islands' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Riverbank, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-3.

River Islands will face off against Humphreys Able Charter at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverbank, they will square off against Big Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverbank is facing Big Valley Christian at the right time seeing as Big Valley Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
