Football Recap: Hart County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hart County lost against Lumpkin County back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs took a 19-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nolan Matthews was nothing short of spectacular for Lumpkin County: he rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Matthews' longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards.

Hart County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lumpkin County, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Coming up, Hart County will take on Flowery Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lumpkin County, they will face off against Dunwoody at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
