Football Game Preview: Booker Tornadoes vs. Manatee Hurricanes

The Booker Tornadoes are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Manatee Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Booker's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They snuck past Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy with a 6-0 win.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Manatee brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past Palmetto 39-0 on Thursday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Hurricanes' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Tigers are ranked 379th).

Manatee pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Booker, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
