Softball Recap: Southeast Alamance Takes a Loss

Southeast Alamance fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Seaforth on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 6-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Southeast Alamance now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Seaforth, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Southeast Alamance will take on Cedar Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Red Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Stallions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Seaforth, they will host North Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
