Preview: Music Mountain Warriors vs. Pinon Eagles
The Music Mountain Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pinon Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Music Mountain suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Mayer 61-34.
Meanwhile, Pinon scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 96-9 win over Greyhills Academy at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Pinon as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Kylie Bia and Shanna Begaye were among the main playmakers for Pinon as the former scored 22 points along with five assists and two steals and the latter scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Begaye has scored all season. Aliyah Tsedah was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Music Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Pinon, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.
